Due to our clients’ requirements and project timeframes, only candidates who are legally entitled to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Constructing, installing and repairing decking structures in accordance with project specifications, Building standards and industry best practices.
  • Installing timber, composite, and metal fencing systems in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Assisting with the construction and installation of retaining walls and landscaping structures.
  • Measuring, cutting and installing materials accurately using a range of hand and power tools
  • Performing site preparation, loading and unloading materials, and general labouring duties as required.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite in accordance with health and safety requirement
Requirements
  • Previous experience in decking, fencing, landscaping, carpentry or skilled labouring.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, and follow instructions accurately.
  • Proficient in the safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and landscaping projects.
  • Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual labour in a range of weather conditions.
  • Current Site Safe certification (Confined Space certification advantageous)
  • Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence preferred
