Key Responsibilities
- Constructing, installing and repairing decking structures in accordance with project specifications, Building standards and industry best practices.
- Installing timber, composite, and metal fencing systems in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Assisting with the construction and installation of retaining walls and landscaping structures.
- Measuring, cutting and installing materials accurately using a range of hand and power tools
- Performing site preparation, loading and unloading materials, and general labouring duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite in accordance with health and safety requirement
- Previous experience in decking, fencing, landscaping, carpentry or skilled labouring.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, and follow instructions accurately.
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and landscaping projects.
- Physically fit and able to perform outdoor manual labour in a range of weather conditions.
- Current Site Safe certification (Confined Space certification advantageous)
- Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence preferred
- Competitive hourly rate of $27–$32 per hour.
